Any member in good standing of Detachment 826 who wishes to have a name added to the Final Roll Call List must inform the Chaplain of the name of the Marine and provide a statement of why this individual should be considered. The Chaplain will then informally poll the elected officers for their approval. With the approval of a simple majority of the elected officers the name shall be added to the Final Roll Call List by the Chaplain. In the case of a tie the Chaplain shall cast the deciding vote. (This was adopted as the standard operating procedure by a majority vote of the membership present at the May 8, 2008, meeting of Columbia River Detachment 826.) |
