    We are always seeking Marines, Corpsmen, and others who support the Corps, to share in camaraderie and community activities with their own. If you have experienced the Esprit of the Marine Corps, we invite you to join us by becoming a member of our Columbia River Detachment 826 of the Marine Corps League. We meet the second Thursday of each month at the Elks Lodge in Vancouver.     Our Columbia River Detachment 826 was established 18 years and 0.8 month ago this month, in September of 1992. At this time we have 114 active members (109 within the United States), which includes 10 women. We have 44 members who are life members of the Marine Corps League, but presently the median period of time as a member is 6 years and 7 months. The median age of our membership is 63 years and 8 months.

    Although we are based in Vancouver, Washington, only 52.6% of the members live within Vancouver.
